The Atlante Italiano is a research project curated by the PARC - Direzione generale per la qualità e la tutela del paesaggio, l’architettura e l’arte contemporanee del Ministero per i beni e le attività culturali, that promotes photography as a form of art and instrument for investigating the diversified reality of the contemporary landscape.

The project is composed of:

_commissioned works from international photographers who were asked to investigate and document the Italian landscape and its transformations.
_a Photography Prize for young professionals.

Reggio Emilia, host of the third edition of Fotografia Europea, is the next stop for the exhibition of over one hundred photographic prints commissioned from internationally recognised photographers.
